Gums Sore? 5 Tips for Good Gum Hygiene

Looking for tips so you can have better gum health? Good for you. When you are proactive about your overall dental health, it means that you are much more likely to experience good dental health. If your gums happen to be sore, it is likely due to an accumulation of bad bacteria in your mouth. Even just missing one or two tooth brushings or forgetting to floss one or two times a week can lead to an oral infection. If you do not take action as soon as you start to experience sore gums, then it is likely you will receive a gum disease diagnosis.

What does good gum hygiene mean?

Good gum hygiene simply means providing the gums with the proper dental care so they are always pink and healthy. While brushing the teeth at least twice a day and flossing them at least once a day is recommended, gently brushing and flossing after every meal can help support good gum hygiene.
